The Main Street Theatre &
strives to nourish creativity by providing high quality theatrical and dance training as well as performing opportunities to everyone in our diverse community. We believe that every person, child or adult, should have the opportunity to participate in the arts, regardless of cultural, socio-economic, ethnic background or age.
MST&DA is located at the Roosevelt Island Cultural Center, 548 Main Street. One stop past 63rd and Lexington on the F line.
Walk down the breezeway directly across from the historic Church of the Good Shepherd and take the red stairs to the left!
For elevator access enter through the double-doors directly behind the Public Safety office. Take the elevator down one floor and our door is to the right!

The Spring 2016 Registration is Open
Classes began the week of February 22nd.

May 24 - June 7 - Zumba Classes Tuesday nights from 7:30-8:30pm for 6 weeks. Cost for full session is $60.
May 25 - Open Salsa Dance Party from 7-8:30pm. Bring a snack/beverage to share and your dancing shoes!
May 30 - Memorial Day, MST&DA closed in observance of the holiday.
June 5th - Dance Concert @ 3pm and 6pm featuring students in our various dance classes.
June 17th - 20th - Production of new musicals by "Common Man Musicals", a collective of fresh new NYC writers brought together by a common man denominator, composer Jonathan Fadner. Show times are 7pm and doors open at 6pm.
